Meredith's story...

Second Degree Murder: those are the charges that Meredith's mom faces. She may never spend another day out of jail. For Meredith, this was just another way that her mom has failed her. "I think God has brought me through all the stuff when I was growing up to prepare me for what I'm going through now."

She endured abuse from her mom, brother and whoever else wanted to vent their frustration and anger. Heavy substance abuse was a regular part of home life. That is why Meredith spent every moment she could out of the house and it's what brought her to Campus Life. If for no other reason, she came just to escape. What she found, though, was so much more.

When she said those words above at Campus Life, she was ready to give her life to Christ. The next day Meredith, Esther, Rebekah, and YFC Area Director Dan Livingston met at a coffee shop where she decided that it was time to do just that.  Meredith now attends church regularly with Esther and has found joy in life...she wil never be the same!

Campus Life Ministries

High School

The YFC Campus Life ministry combines healthy relationships with creative programs to help senior high young people make good choices, establish a solid foundation for life, and positively impact their schools. Like every ministry of YFC, Campus Life seeks to engage these young people wherever they are found as life-long followers of Jesus Christ. Campus Life is a place for high school students to have fun, make friends and talk about matters to other high school students. Campus Life provides a balanced approach - physical, mental, social and spiritual - to give teens the skills and hope they need to live in a turbulent world. Campus Life club meets in the local schools listed below.

Junior High and Middle School

Campus Life (M) offers junior high and middle school students opportunities for friendship, fun, and growth. Club meetings can be a great time to meet and "hang out" with kids from school, and a chance to talk about what's important to them. Besides weekly, topical meetings, there are area events, trips and special outings designed for the needs of young teens and the chance to get to know kids from other area schools. Staff and adult volunteers find creative ways to build relationships and communicate the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Staff and volunteers provide leadership that kids can rely upon, as well as, providing a positive role model.
