We serve all youth without discrimination,
providing a safe place where every young person, regardless of circumstance or lifestyle choice, is welcome, valued, and seen.
Our programs reach youth in juvenile detention, on school campuses, in the community, and teen parents navigating the challenges of young adulthood. We believe every youth has inherent worth, and we walk alongside them to offer hope, guidance, and practical support.
Ways to Serve:
- Mentor a youth one-on-one or in small groups
- Support teen parents through encouragement and practical help
- Assist with on-campus after-school programs or events
- Provide meals, snacks, hygiene items, or baby supplies
- Help with youth gatherings, service projects, or camps
We welcome volunteers from all walks of life who share our vision of creating safe, supportive spaces for youth to belong, grow, and thrive. Every volunteer plays a part in meeting physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Volunteer Requirements:
Because we work closely with minors, all volunteers must:
- Complete a background check and provide personal references
- Undergo a one-on-one interview with a leader from TYFC
- Agree to YFC National leadership standards, which include a statement of faith and commitment to Christlike living
- Complete mandatory reporter training (all volunteers are mandatory reporters under state law)
