Celebration of Hope is a night of dinner, story, and celebration โ and an invitation into the next chapter of showing up for young people in Pierce County. For eighty years, Tacoma YFC has been the steady adult in the room: in schools, in detention centers, in teen-parent living rooms, and in the quiet moments where hope gets carried in by hand. This is the night we gather the people who make that presence possible.ย Come for the story. Stay for the long game.

If you’ve ever carried hope with us โ given, prayed, mentored, sponsored, or simply showed up, this night is for you. And it’s for the friends who haven’t met us yet. Bring one of them.
Eighty years. The same conviction:ย presence over programs.ย Christ-centered relationships, carried week after week, decade after decade โ because transformation doesn’t come from one big night. It comes from someone who keeps showing up.

Schools, detention centers, teen-parent support, mentorship
Next
The next eighty years of carrying hope
Eighty years of presence were built one relationship at a time, and yours is part of it. If your path ever crossed Tacoma YFC’s, at any point along the way, as a student, a mentor, a volunteer, a donor, a friend, we want to hear your story. We’re gathering them for an exhibit at the Celebration of Hope, so the whole room can see how decades of individual journeys add up to one bigger picture. Tell us yours.
Eighty years of showing up brought us here. The next chapter needs you in the room.
