Introducing… Joey Joseph, the newest member of our team! Joey just started her role as Site Leader for Campus Life at Claudia Thomas Middle School and she hit the ground running. She’s already building positive relationships with school administrators and staff as well as the local community. Not a bad start for someone not only brand new to her role but new to Washington State, as well! She and her family just moved to JBLM when her husband was stationed there and we couldn’t be more excited or grateful to have her in the TYFC fam.
Learn a little more about Joey:
What are you excited about in your new role?
I am very excited about being there for kids in the way I needed someone when I was their age. I can’t change my past but I hope to have the opportunity to potentially change a kid’s future with the message of Jesus.
Why YFC?
I have been working with young people since I was saved and I love the mission and vision of YFC. I truly see it as a privilege to speak into kids’ lives and be a trusted adult who they can learn from and share with.
What’s the best book you’ve read lately?
I don’t love reading but I have been listening to “Fairy Tale” by Stephen King.
What’s the best prank you’ve ever pulled?
I don’t think I’ve ever pulled a prank.
Besides Jesus, your family, etc., what’s something you love/are passionate about? Or a hobby you have?
I have been singing since I was a kid. I love to go to karaoke and even auditioned for the Voice once!
What song do you know all the lyrics to?
So many!! Jesus Freak by DC Talk
Is a hot dog a sandwich?
Sure, so is a quesadilla.
