Tacoma Area Youth For Christ’s annual Celebration of Hope event and online auction is coming this October! Our largest fundraiser of the year kicks off with an online auction running October 16th-19th and culminates with an in-person event at the Foss Waterway Seaport Museum featuring guest speaker Laurel Bunker. We invite you to join us this year in partnership to meet the needs of kids throughout Pierce County through one of our Business Partnership opportunities.
Pierce County is filled with thousands of hurting kids and recent years have shown a rise in mental health issues like extreme loneliness, depression, and suicidal ideation. Tacoma Area Youth for Christ reaches 11 to 19-year-olds in our community through ministry models like Campus Life, Parent Life, Juvenile Justice Ministry, and Mentor One80, introducing them to the hope of Jesus and providing the positive relationships that impact resilience, growth, educational outcomes, and long-term societal change.
The Celebration of Hope 2024 is your opportunity to join in this important work. What does sponsorship look like? We have five levels:
These Business Partnerships are an integral part of helping us reach our total fundraising goal of $190,000. We anticipate a highly attended event where your company could be showcased through our digital channels, in print materials, as well as at our in-person event. As a Business Partner your business will receive a full tax donation receipt. Our tax ID number is 91.0584100.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you! Join us in person for the Celebration of Hope on October 19th at at the Foss Waterway Seaport Museum for dinner, stories of hope, guest speaker Laurel Bunker, a chance to support to the mission of Tacoma Area Youth For Christ through our night-of Give Life opportunity, and a ton of FUN! You’ll also be able to BID on amazing items like vacations, date night packages, certificates for exciting experiences, and more through our online auction opening October 16th and closing well after the in-person event on the 19th.
EVENT DETAILS:
- Saturday, October 19th at Foss Waterway Seaport Museum
- Doors open at 6 PM, Program starts at 7 PM
- TICKETS: $55/person or $440/table of 8 until September 5, $65/person or $540/table regularly
- Semi-formal dress
- Parking provided in the lot just north of the venue, between the museum and Rock the Dock Pub & Grill in designated spaces.
- Online auction opens October 16th and closes the evening of October 19th.
