Strong 2022

Developing Leaders
Strengthening Teams
Cultivating Ministries

With 2022 just around the corner, we look back on 2021 with gratitude for the many ways God provided through creative ministry outreaches, new team members, and partners like you. While we hoped the world would return to “normal” in 2021, young people are experiencing greater rates of anxiety, depression, and isolation than ever before. They long to be known and counted as significant, which makes the relational connections between YFC leaders and teens crucial.

Our vision for 2022 includes new ministry site opportunities, investing in team strength through leadership development, and a greater understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion through a Biblical lens. With this vision, our goal is to raise $150,000 in special year end gifts to:

Increased Ministry Opportunities = $90,000

  • NEW ministry staff – opening new sites in University Place and Lakewood
  • MORE volunteers: recruitment through church presentations, website and social media

Leadership development = $40,000

  • Specialized training focusing on a biblical model of shepherd leadership, YFC 3Story, and Situational Leadership
  • Equipping on effective supervision, goal setting, and individualized leadership development/journeys
  • Laying foundation for a Young Leader (14-24 year olds) program launch in 2022

Tacoma YFC culture/health = $20,000

  • Continuing to build a culture that attracts, retains and equips a diverse group of leaders (staff and volunteers)
  • Kingdom-Inspired Diversity training (YFC/USA national value) – biblical foundations for cultural diversity, competency and understanding

2021 Year End Goal = $150,000
