Bailee’s Story

Building Trust Over Time

Bailee became a mother at 17, living with her boyfriend and struggling to stay in school. When she connected with YFC’s Parent Life ministry at 18, it marked the beginning of a transformative relationship that would span countless life moments.

From text messages and shared burgers at Red Robin to backyard family dinners and her daughter’s first birthday celebration, the relationship grew through both challenges and triumphs. Her mentor witnessed God’s faithfulness as prayers were answered – about jobs, relationships, housing, and even the miraculous return of Bailee’s stolen car.

“I can’t be a superhero and solve all the problems for Bailee,” her mentor reflects, “Instead I pray, encourage, and wait for God to show up. This has been my favorite part of my relationship with Bailee–pointing out those God moments in her life and reminding her that God has good things planned for her and her daughter.”

This is what lasting connection looks like – being present through every up and down. Your year-end gift helps create these enduring connections
