Program Description

Tacoma Youth for Christ (“Tacoma YFC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates an SMS messaging program to communicate with supporters, donors, volunteers, and friends of our ministry who have opted in to receive text messages. Through this program, you may receive messages including ministry updates, event invitations and reminders, fundraising and giving information, volunteer coordination, and stories of student impact.

Message frequency varies.

Opt-In and Consent

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages from Tacoma YFC, you consent to receive recurring automated SMS and/or MMS messages from us at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase, donation, or participation in any Tacoma YFC program or activity.

Opting Out

You can cancel the SMS messaging program at any time by texting STOP to the number from which you received our messages. After you send “STOP,” we will send you a one-time confirmation message, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to rejoin, sign up again the same way you did initially, and we will resume sending messages to you.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. For questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

Carrier Liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

We respect your privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Changes to These Terms

Tacoma YFC reserves the right to modify these SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes are effective upon posting to this page.
