Meet Jessica!

Next time you stop by the office, you might notice a new face greeting you at the front desk. Jessica Kesseler is our new Development and Administrative Coordinator! She brings so much cheer and some killer organizational skills to the team. When she’s not with YFC, you can find her using her singing and acting skills in performances across the community. Read on to learn more about Jessica!

What are you excited about in your new role?

I’m so excited to be joining such a welcoming and warm team! I feel like this role will blend my passion for people, organization, and the Lord perfectly.

Why YFC?

I believe in everything that YFC stands for- that youth matter and fostering our next generation is essential for growing and spreading our faith in Jesus.

What’s the best book you’ve read lately?

Oooh what a great question! I teeter between historical fiction, fantasy, thrillers, and romantic comedies. Best few books I’ve recently read are The German Wife, None of This is True, and Remarkably Bright Creatures!

What’s the best prank you’ve ever pulled?

I am not the person to pull off a prank successfully. I can confidently say that I have never pulled a prank!

Besides Jesus, your family, etc., what’s something you love/are passionate about? Or a hobby you have?

Music! I have a vocal performance degree, and I’ve been able to use it in a variety of ways like music directing, performing professionally at local theatre companies, and singing at retirement homes (which I absolutely adore!).

What song do you know all the lyrics to?

Sooooo many! I sing on worship team and have sung in a professional caroling group, so I know all of the lyrics to at least 70 Christmas songs, not to mention the music I sing in shows or just for fun!

Would you rather fight 50 duck-sized horses or one horse-sized duck?

I would prefer to stay out of this imaginary narrative and never have to fight anything haha! Both are terrifying- no thank you!
